The amount of time actually passed was unclear, though Locke most likely had been counting the hours, days, or weeks. However long, when Wraith awoke, he was laying in the back of a cart, rumbling down the road. His side was bandaged and while he was in most pain, his body seemed to be able to take most of it well.
He had woken up in a cold sweat, and had shot bolt upright before registering he was injured. He doubled over with a groan, trying to familiarize himself with the dull ache before looking up to observe his surroundings. A cart- one of many- was rattling along the road, moving at a steady pace. From the top, which was covered, Locke's unnaturally long and bony tail dangled calmly. He glanced around, mildly confused, before spotting Ciki. His heart jumped, eyes going wide as he stared at her. She was worse than he had been, and it looked as if she'd barely gotten any better from her injuries. Perhaps the bandages were old, though. He didn't understand why, but he was worried. It confused him, but he quickly masked it. No sense in showing feeling. Even if he liked her, she definitely had no interest in him. They were only coworkers for the time being...

She awoke, sitting up slowly. She too had no idea where they were, and her eyes glowed a deep purple before returning to they're natural color. It felt like her injuries had just happen, but she didn't show it.

Seeing that she had awoken, Wraith leaned back, assuming his usual nonchalant behavior. Quietly, he looked at her and raised an eyebrow.
"You doing okay?"

" I'm...fine. " Which in truth, she was not. Her voice was shaking. Even though she had been sleep for a while, her energy hadn't come back. That was logical. Her energy doesn't usually come back after sleeping.

Wraith simply raised his eyebrows, as if to tell her he didn't believe the statement. Then, he looked away to stare toward the inside of the cabin and observe the contend more thoroughly. "I don't think you are. But hey. We barely know each other. Who am I to judge?" He shrugged, crossing his arms across his bare chest. Then in dawned on him. He wasn't wearing a shirt. His face soured. Oh, he would get that imp if it was the last thing he did.....
Luckily enough, however, it was only his shoulders and upper chest that showed. The rest of his abdomen was thoroughly bandaged. The scars had seemingly doubled, and some places on his back and arms were also bandaged, as if old wounds somehow reopened themselves.

She knew she wasn't okay. But she herself didn't want to admit it. So, she didn't say anything back. She would heal, over time. She had never had any lethal injuries such as the ones she had just received, but she wasn't in shock like anyone else would be.

Wraith simply stopped talking from there. He glanced up at Locke's tail, which still dangled idly from the top of the wagon. He was probably asleep- exhausted by treating both their wounds. While he was irritating most days, the creature could be quite helpful when he wanted to be. "...what now?" He asked quietly, sighing just as softly. "I doubt either of us can take out a group of people in our condition..."

Her eyes narrowed. She didn't like failing. Failing was not something she did. " Well first...we have to find out where we are. " She looked around. None of this was familiar to her and she didn't like it.

Wraith sighed. "Locke probably hitched a ride on the first caravan he came across. Hell, they probably don't even know we're here."

" probably. " She felt extremely weak right now, and didn't like it. So she then proceeded to faint. Again.
