Lacey shook her head, but Itri put a hand on her shoulder and nodded towards the door. She stuck her tongue out, but went over to Aydan anyway.

"A scientist? Oh..." She said.'but they were the ones to put me in this place...' she thought as she walked out the door.

"Wasn't it your mother who put you here? You can hardly blame every scientist who works here for that. If you believed that it was all of our faults, it would would be extremely childish of you, and as far as I can tell, you're quite mature" Aydan said, his tone very matter of fact. He walked in the direction of Lacey's room, figuring that he would drop the child of before continuing his search.

1201 yawned, rubbing their eye with a ^{(now fluffier and less hand-like)} paw. Their stomach grumbled and they dropped off their table-bed, landing on all fours with a grunt. Experiments had picked up quite a lot since the strange cat-child arrived in their cell. They swished their (longer now) tail and got up on two feet(paws). Where is scientist?, they wondered, shuffling around in their hospital gown. Their stomach growled again. They barked. Moving closer to the door, they barked again. "Hello? Scientist?" they called. They looked behind them nervously. The pain in their stomach was terrible. They took a deep breath and opened up the door, whining. "Scientist?" they asked again, paw/hand grasping at the wall. Their steps were uneven and their ears were pressed flat to their head.

"I'm aboutta burn up 1202's cell." she hung up, stepping out into the doorway and flipping in a match, setting the place alight with bright flames and loud pops.

A bright light alerted 1201 before the noise did. They yelped, dashing down the hallway falling onto all fours halfway through the sprint. Loud popping and a burning heat seemed to follow them down the redlight hallway. Adrenaline shot through their veins and they continued down the long hall, past hundreds of cells. They halted when met with a door. They looked around frantically, barking out nonsense and occasionally ramming against the door in a panicked frenzy.

"But scientists keep me here.if it wasn't for them I'd be free." She pointed out.suddenly she heard yelping and barking."What is that?" She said,her voice raising and her eyes looking from side to side.She unfurled her wings and started jogging ahead towards the noise."come on let's go!" She waved to Ayden and tried flying.the ceiling was low but she managed to make it.she flew ahead with large beats of her wings.Suddenly the noise got louder.

1201 continued to shout and snarl, ramming against the door more strategically, yet there was still a panicked method. They heard the beating of wings, but their head was swimming and their vision was blurry. They couldn't find out where it was from, so they continued trying to break through the plexiglas door designed to keep them in.

She hit her wings against the wall and stopped,realizing that it was too small of a space to fly.Instead she sprinted right past the door where she heard the barking."crap..." She muttered and turned around.Horror started running through her mind as she saw the creature banging on the door."I'll help you...Hold on..." She yelled as she tried opening the door.Suddenly she saw the bright red light of a fire spread into the room."I've almost got it!" She screamed and jammed her knife into the door.She heard a click and the knob turned.She grabbed it and slammed the door open,quickly letting out the creature,then slamming it shut again.

1201 suddenly burst through in a fit of adrenaline. They dashed away from the door getting maybe a foot away from it, sprinting on all fours like an ape. Fresh, cold air met with their face and they they stopped to catch their breath. Bright lights made them growl and they rubbed their eyes, getting up into a crouch position. "Where, what?" they barked, shaking slightly.

"hey wait up!" She yelled,running after them.

Aydan ran to catch up with the girl. His feet slipped slightly on the smooth floor of the lab as he ran, but he managed to stay upright. He smelled smoke and headed in the direction from which the scent came. He ran into the hallway where the smell seemed to be coming from for the most part, and saw Ashes pulling a door open and an animal like person running out on all fours. "Hey!" He yelled. "Are you two okay?"
