I snuggled the soft, warm blanket. I'm at home! I thought. I'm here in my most comfortable bed. Mother will probably call my landline soon, telling me I was stupid to ever leave her. And I'll agree.

I walked to my bedroom, tired after a long day. After all, the scientists of the world hate me for always testing on myself, and spending today agruing is a day of experimentation wasted. I walked into my bedroom and screamed. "AH THERE'S A HUMAN IN MY BED!"

"No," I said. "He is probably used to us scientists cheating." I blushed. "Or, you know, he was distracted by you."

"Scientists cheat a lot?" I ask. "Why would he be distracted by me? Do i look weird?" I ask looking down at my clothes.

"No, you're handsome, not weird." I blushed deeper. "And, um, scientists cheat to get the plushies to test stuff on, like something that will make them alive. Not me, though."

"Have they seen pet semetary?" I ask. "Its a whole movie about putting things alive that arent supposed to be." I tell him. I blush at his compliment. "Thanks but im uh not handsome."

"Yes you are," I said. "And no, they haven't. Most scientists spend the day experimenting, not watching, their words, not mine, 'Stupid brain-melting motion pictures'."

I roll my eyes. "Oh yes because movies and not being insane is going to melt their brains." I say sarcasrically.

"Yeah, some scientists are freaking stupid. There is this one scientist I know that likes testing on test subjects, and he stays awake on just coffee." I said. "I couldn't do that. I don't even really like coffee."

She nodded. " But the babies are cute. "

"But how?" I ask. "Sleeping is the human version of did you turn it off and back on. He would die without sleep for too long." I tell him.
