A few serpentian heads rose out of the lake a few seconds before disappearing back down. One word came to mind for those who had saw and read the old books: Hydra. Definitely not friendly in the least but something seemed off at about this one, maybe blind? That could make it extra dangerous to make any noise about. There was no 'around' to the lake, it went from cliff to cliff, so they would have to find a way to go silently over the water and avoid detection by the hydra or find another way.
(I'm assuming they continued down the tunnel)
Those with good eyesight would be able to see 99echosong99 and Jjabbyjj exiting a little shed on the far shore of the lake, the tunnel having went under and let them safely out the other side.
The fruits weren't the only thing to be wary of in the garden, a few of the plants openly tried to bite them, stopped only by their stems being too short.

Find or make a quiet raft. Don't talk at all." She serched around and decided to use a bunch of smoothed bark, big enough for 2. Perfect. She pulled Kat to the water and put the bark in it. she pulled herself and kat on. It held them up. It looked like they could make it.

I tug on Inno, hiding behind her unsure of what to do.
Cerberus looks around smashing a couple of the plants snapping at her feet. She looks over to Zeo, who apparently has fallen asleep next to her. She nudges him desperately trying to get him to focus on the matter.
