Shell thought for a moment then sighed. "Ahwell there goes that. Scratch that can you float at least."

Knuckles' eyes had a challenging gleam to them. He took a breath and braced himself.

"Righto." Shell dived angling her wings to use the currents to their advantage they passed through the sunlight zone, then the twilight zone, and as soon as they hit the midnight zone Shell's scales began to glow in different patterns. Snout slow and dim, tail bright and flickering, wings steady glowing. A message.

Oh.... I did not think it would be this deep. One thing was certain; it was cold, dark, and heavy here. He closed his eyes in an attempt to conserve oxygen.

Shell dived deeper avoiding looming obstacles. She managed to squeeze into a clearing where in the middle was a prowling shark-scorpion-horse looking thing. Yikes this is the full definition of ugly. She flashed another message gasping, there embedded in the creatures forehead was the blue chaos emerald. (yay moe bass challenges :3)

Bokkun conects wirelessly to something then nods "I now know were it is go left."

Knuckles glanced at the yellow emerald now, which was glowing at it's fullest. He closed his eyes again, knowing that they only had a couple more minutes before he had to surface.

Sonic nodded. "Right," he said taking off.

Shell understood that and burst forward clutching the creatures head and shot upwards towards the surface avoiding the creatures flailing scorpion tail.

After regulating his breathing, the echidna opened his eyes and just now noticed the horse-scorpion-thing. "Yikes, doesn't look very welcoming, does it?" He said, not realizing he said it out loud.
