Before the next riddle I would like to bring to attention some flaws in conduct that I feel need to be addressed. I will do this by quoting the rules listed on the first post (that, hopefully, most of you have read).

New Rule of the Game:
5) You must have it narrowed down to one prize by the time you message me. I will not pick pets to be prizes unless it is a SUPREME RIDDLE prize.

New/Edited Rules of Civility:
1) Please do not spam. The only posts that should be seen here are riddles, answers, and compliments to random players (because everyone deserves it! ^.^ ). It is very unlikely that I will respond to posts that relate to anything but these categories. I would prefer prize requests by PM, so that in the case of any confusion, there will not be posts taking up space.
4) Only I will be posting riddles. This is not a "winner does the next round" game. Though, I will allow players to recommend riddles by PM if they so desire.
6) I will implement the idea that players who have won the last round must skip a round before they will be allowed to participate again.

Sanya, I will allow your answer this time, but I will expect that everyone adheres to the new Rule of the Game from now on.

A man lives in a small house with a farm as his back garden and has a river beside his house. On the other side of the river is a shop. One day he visited the shop and bought a chicken, a bag of corn for the chicken, and a fox.There is room for the man and one item in the boat, and he must always have something in the boat with him (at least when he is crossing to the farm). With out killing any animals or letting an animal eat an item or another animal, how will the man get across?

He has to take the chicken on the boat and put it across the river and go back and get the fox. Then take the fox over and take the chicken back to the other side with him. When he gets there he has to leave the chicken on the shore and grab the seeds and take them over. And then one last trip for the chicken and all the items have been moved across. I don't know if I explained this good enough..

So it goes:

Man takes the chicken to the other shore and leaves the chicken there.
Goes back in an empty boat and takes the fox.
Puts the fox next to the chicken, but takes the chicken back with him to the side with the seeds.
Puts the chicken out of the boat and takes seeds across.
He then goes back to the shore with the chicken and takes the chicken back across with him.
Now everyone and everything has made it across without any deaths!
