The scent seems to be leading in a million different directions.

He falls to the ground and raises a paw in surrender.

I quickly stop and listen. I hear a faint howl but not sure if it is a wolf I know. from far distance sounds like a wolf roaming about. A female wolf?

You shrug. There's no way of telling from this far away.

I decide to walk toward the sound. the howling begins more clearer. I howl back letting the wolf I am near and I hear their call. asking who they are.

I laugh at him before licking clean any wounds I may of caused to him. Once I am sure he is okay I move off towards the Sun wolf to clean myself as well. My pride swells. I beat a strong male, he may of been from my pack but still. I proved myself superior to him.

lol. you defeated what might have been from your pack and you laugh. I am sorry but that is funny.

This makes my head hurt. I'm getting quite tired...I lie down on the cool forest floor and touch my nose to the foliage. I drink in the stale yet sweet scent of my pack. My pack...they're all gone.

He is slowed down in the cold waters, I can easily leap onto him again from the bank. The cold saps his strength too. Thank goodness for that mouse earlier. As the deer tries to keep it's footing in the bed of the stream it faces the wolf. Lokin uses his advantage from the edges of the bank and lunges for the unprotected neck of the deer.
(If he misses, he's grabbing a leg as he goes down into the stream.)
