Read Faiona's answers in this thread.
They're pretty rare and random to get. May take as many as 1000 nurtures or 1000 battles to get one, and for some people maybe 100.

Where can I find info on nurturing pets after they hatch?

You could go to the pet's page, click on it, and nurture it there, if that what you mean.
or you could go to your hatchery and click 'help nurture Sylesties' and only search for hatchlings.
(sorry i'm not exactly sure what you meant XD)

I'm not sure if anyone has said this yet, but this is a mini note to newbies:
As soon as you get 500 diamonds, spend it on a new stable. Do it. You won't regret it. I swear.

I was talking about the hatchery where you have the actions to do like read to them. But any info so I can find out what to do and what things mean.

I have a problem. I can't change my outfit. Do I have to buy the piece of clothing first? Someone help please!

Diamonds are bought with real money in the diamond shop or from other players in the currency exchange.
