Lomaris took a step back, gulping nervously. He tried to recall the lessons his elders had given him on confronting an angry creature, but they failed him.

Suddenly a giant Lynx, wait no it was a giant terrifying cat man, leaped out of the bush before sweeping up Flax by her scruff, sparing an angry hiss at Lomaris before speaking in a low snarling tone,
"Why do you have my kitten boy?"
The man was at LEAST 6'8 so towered over the little elf-

"I- um- I-" Lomaris stutters, lost for words. His ears are pinned straight back and his coppery skin is pale with fear. If only he weren't so far in the woods, maybe his elders would save him..... but no, he's a lonely defenseless little elf for the moment.

Lomaris' eyes begin to tear up a little. "I.... don't know.... I went out here into the forest and she dropped onto me out of a tree!" He whispers, barely audible.

He glanced over at Flax who simply nodded before standing up and pulling Lomaris to his feet with one powerful paw,
"Alright kid. Lets get you out of this part of the forest before a wolf grabs a bite out of you."

He stared at Lomaris for a second before just... picking him up and starting to walk. Flax made a sort of 'yeah this is normal' gesture before going back to being completely still.

He just kept tramping through the forest in stony silence while holding both of the children dangerously high off the ground.
