Basiclaly he can look at anuthing that isnt like liwuid or soemthing and leaves a kidn of inky residue that is like ink. So if he focuses he can write with it or even draw. Its hard to get out but its also painful for him to use for long periods of time and harder if he isnt concentrating or the object is moving or living.

If he doesnt use it now and then the inky stuff builds up and squirts out randomly. Hence the glasses. For your protection mostly.
