Ah, okay. I like that and I like the idea of a stat system (since it makes me feel like X would be less useless tbh)

I figured that without a really well structure battle and stat system, this rp and the characters in it would be pretty pointless

It really, really, really depends on your players in my experience.
Mine has the issue of power creep because it's been running so long and all the bosses we have are literally gods ruling over entire species of aliens for crying out loud. We get by on a very light system that embraces the chaos of the chaotic situations. Since I'm running it with very skilled roleplayers (all with 7+ years of experience), we don't run into the issue of anyone pulling out any ridiculous, game breaking stuff generally.
But there's also groups where it's harder to gauge the honor of your players to not try to cheese everything or murder everyone. And I think those situations are helpful to have fully fledged systems.

Ooh yay, I like numbers deciding things, but my RPGs are more based on my own judgement with a few stats thrown in rather than the DnD way of rolling basically everything (idk, I've only played DnD like once). Yay, RP/RPG hybrids, fun

So guessing from the six stat stuff, we're also rolling for observation checks or whatever?
Rolling for damage and multiplying sounds good, and I'm guessing rolling a 1 would just you be tripping over a rock and knocking yourself out lol. Not sure if I read this part right because I kinda skimmed, but the multiplication factor shouldn't be based on the strength of the boss? I mean, then everyone could fight most bosses eventually, because I'm assuming the stronger the boss, the more you multiply your attacks by.
If we're using this for battle-y things, we'd need attack or mitigation stats too, and health - hmm base health would probably vary from species to species though so you could let everyone decide their own within a certain range, I guess?
And armor and weapons and stuff would raise a constant stat rather than multiplying so you're forced to keep upgrading as you get stronger
So yee that's my not so helpful input cause I just woke up

I've only played Shadowrun so I'm not the one to ask either, too much math messes up game pacing for me so I don't tend to like DND too much unless I'm getting to DM

I was actually planning on asking everyone to pick three stats of the six to add a point to. If you guys would post that here rather than on the rp thread, that'd be great. Also, base health, for my mental states' sake, will all start on 100. Choices and purchases will effect the rise and fall of this.
Also, taking suggestions for battle music. Here's three examples.
