Secret: His family was cursed, and he may or may not have absorbed the curse....which for some reason isn't killing him but killed the rest. He's very good at accidently turnign things into ash. Hence his secret-don't let anyone find out he could technically destroy the world. Technically.

Backstory: After most of his family died, he moved in with a relative while his brother went off to boarding school to try to get away form the madness. Hes been goign to the local public school for a few months now, after taking some time off to try to figure out some of his...curses powers.
