Another question! Can one play as more than one character? Say a pair of partners but only one is the chosen?

Usually because for rpgs like this I pair up with someone and we make opposite characters to try and max out certain skills early on.

Mmm, I'm liking the partner ideas on this one.
I will stretch the player limit to max 12 people, but only 6 chosen spots (the chosen people are first come first serve, though I would prefer more active players to take the chosen roles)
The six characters can choose to have a partner, who is played by either another player or themselves. However, if you choose not to have a partner that is also ok.
The spirits will be played by me.
The partners will not be with the chosen ones in the start of the RPG. It is up for the chosen to find their partner and vice versa.
The partners WILL NOT have spirits to guide them. That is the privilege of the chosen one. They will also not have an aligned element, but instead have a special power as one of the following:
1. Warrior - Especially trained at battling
2. Doctor - Especially trained at healing
3. Charmer - Especially trained at persuasion (Charmspeak)
4. Magician - Especially trained at delusion (Creating illusions)
5. Thief - Especially trained at spying/stealing
6. Performer - Especially trained at entertaining (Boosts in Agility)

Awesome! Works perfectly with my plan. Though I must ask for the sake of all, is it alright for the partners to end up liking one another? That tends to happen quite often in the glory of battle, seeing your partner slaying things tends to make them a tab more attractive if you get what I mean.
