At least she could she out of there, Camilla thought as she took a deep breath to steady her nerves. The presence of the orc was making her uncomfortable to the extreme, with the putrid color of her skin, to her grotesque tusks and brash manners, she was finding it hard to maintain her own composure.
"Thank you," she managed to say with every ounce of dignity she could muster, bestowing a final kind smile on Eprin as she proceeded to...

You leave the tavern and find yourself in a quaint town with, yes, many merchants calling out wares. You also happen to notice an old man sitting on a bench and feeding ducks, and a shady ashen-skinned woman leaning against a hut and cleaning under her nails with a knife.
What do you wish to do?
a) Go to the jeweler
b) Go to the weapons merchant
c) Go to the mystery merchant
d) Approach the old man feeding ducks
e) Go to the sewing merchant
f) Go to the supplies merchant
g) Go to the food merchant
h) Approach the shady looking woman
i) Go to the stone merchant
j) Go to the animal merchant
k) Go back to the tavern
l) Keep looking
m) Leave the town

Camilla exited the tavern, shading her eyes from the brightness of the sun as her eyes took a minute to adjust. She saw a number of...interesting characters, but the fluttering of the shredded bits of her dress were stark reminders of her most important mission. While she had been trudging about in the woods it had meant nothing that she looked so horrid, but now she was amongst others and it was just...not done.
After a quick scan of her surrounds, she spied a merchant that seemed to be able to provide what she needed. She headed in the direction of the...

The sewing merchant turned out to be a wizened old dwarf woman with hair brighter than your own in spite of her wrinkled face. "Aye, ye look in the need of some new clothing, dearie," she chuckled. "Don't worry, Arlda don't ask no questions. But Arlda can fix ye up with a nice dress for just three Sprites. Yes, Arlda pities a poor poppet," she nodded her head.

Naesala casually looked in her bag, satisfied that everything had been left how she remembered. She cleared her throat after an unnecessarily elongated period of silence, and in a futile attempt to make things less awkward, simply said, *Nice.*
Nice? What are you, a human? Just get out of here, somehow. Get him to leave the room so you can sneak away without being seen as injured. Figure out what youre doing later. Just focus on now.
*Well, Eprin, was it? Do you serve breakfast here? Maybe we could go get some?* She smiled cautiously, trying not to seem flirtatious, although she personally didnt have much experience with flirting.

Eprin looked away nervously, rubbing the back of his neck with one hand. "Well, yes, we do have food, but I'm afraid my sister really won't let me take anything else without payment," he admitted.

Camilla had lived her whole life in a very...closed off sort of human village. They did not appreciate outsiders. She had seen other races sparingly as she grew up, merchants who tried to pass through town and we turned away or told to set up shop on the outskirts of the village. It felt surreal then, when she realized that the sewing merchant was in fact and older dwarf woman.
She didn't have much time to get adjusted before the woman began speaking to her and offering her a dress at a reasonable price. The warmth she felt being in the dwarf's presence, despite her appearance being unfamiliar to her, and her weariness from her travels made it seem not worth it to be condescending...despite being called "poppet".
"I thank you ma'am," Camilla said politely, giving a very small curtsy, "I would be very grateful to purchase a dress."

The woman smiled and rummaged around in the case she carried for a moment before pulling out a very simple frock and handing it to you. "'Ere we go. Should be yer size, it look like. And since ye such a nice dearie, that'll be just two Sprites," she smiled, revealing a half-toothless mouth.

Naesala raised an eyebrow at the boy, and turned to rummage through her bag. She produced a handful of sprites, looking slightly disappointed at the dwindling amount. Sheextended a hand of two to Eprin. *Will that cover breakfast?*
