I swiftly grabbed the combat knife, I didn't want to be stuck with a gun I had no idea how to use and which could run out of ammunition. Besides, I was always better with close in attacks in my videogames, preferring the sword over the gun. "You guys don't mind if I take this right?"
Though I asked, I wasn't planning on giving it to someone else. It can't be any harder than any videogame I've played right?

I look around franticly seeing everyone grabbing at things around the room when I saw my saving grace. I picked up 2 Beretta 9mm pistols, already having experience with a standard pistol, I held it close. My heart still racing hearing the incessant banging from the undead just outside, I glanced over and quickly took a small box of bullets. "Woo, 36 bullets!" I shouted quietly to myself but then I had a thought, "I need a partner" So I announced in the room, "if anyone here wants to tag team with me I have an extra pistol!" Everyone glanced at me, looking as if I was crazy. I bowed my head a little, feeling sheepish just having announced myself like that so I just occupied myself by loading my guns. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Talyn quietly hunched over in the corner, softly cursing as she fiddled with something. I stride over to her, my boots cracking small glass against the ground and leaned over. She was toying with a nicely sized safe. I softly ask if I could help her in any way.

I turn around and see Star slightly bowing accepting my offer. His words were clear and smooth which surprised me greatly considering what situation we are in. I put my hand on his shoulder and gave him the best smile I could and said, "sure! Partnering up is smarter than going it alone after all, yeah?" He humbly nodded and smiled back. I turned back around to Talyn inquiring outloud, "Maybe we could help Talyn get to whatever is in that safe, there could be something to help us all in there."

I saw more people grab up their weapon than make a verbal preference. The only weapon I could deal with out of the guns was the M16 rifle. I knew I had terrible experiences with hunting guns and their kickback, but I figured that if worse comes to worse, it'll make a great makeshift battering weapon without its ammo. Truth be told, I could make anything a weapon if the situation called for it...

I took the 24 rounds, keeping most of them stashed on me. I relented on loading a round while it was still safe, but I made sure that safety was on and where it was. Hopefully. I had a better chance of using it to beat things than shoot things.

I leaned against a wall while I watched the party shift towards the safe. I was curious what was inside it, though this bunch seemed like they may share. They treasured teamwork as beneficial, so I didn't think that much words were necessary.

I looked around towards the back of the store, and even up at the ceiling, if there was another route than through the main entrance where the zombies were trying to claw through. I walked towards the counter and, with my rifle, tapped up at the ceiling, to see if it was brittle or cement, and if we had an alternative way out. "Anyone know if there's a door at the back?" I asked out loud. I wouldn't know if people would hear me anyhow.

@Luxordz, while I'm at it, IS there a way out besides the front? Like a back door exit, or the ceiling is made of canvas tiles that can be taken out and we can found a way out to the roof or something.

And I got bored so why not.
Lookitdat, the outfit comes with a lil ammo box. c: jkjk. Got bored aha.

smart thinking, and yes there is a way or ways out, however that'll be in the next advancement post when everything is settled with the weapons.

Status post: The undead forces outside are still working to break down the makeshift fortifications, their moaning getting louder as they slowly work their way through the wooden door, the other zombies in the area have likely heard the noise and are heading towards the group...

also, remember you can literally do anything (within the rules of logic) at any time, ex: run from the group, try to steal things, try to kill someone etc. literally the whole game revolves around what you do, also if you wish to do something and hide it you can PM me, please use as much detail as possible explaining exactly how you wish to carry out actions like these. (this will also be #10 on the second post)

As I ruffle my hair, I look around and take $100 out the safe. "Well, I guess I'll take some cash, couldn't hurt though since we can't buy anything, right? Someone else take the $250 if you want." I say uncaring as I look back to Daemon, stuffing the cash in my pockets and then smiling at her. "Well, what now?" I say, a smile forming.

I sigh and rub my neck, looking around. The floor is filthy. I shake my head and I look at the people doing their own thing in this bleak room then I decide to take a 100$ from the wad too, "You're right, can't buy anything but maybe it'll come in handy, Star." I put the bill in my pocket carefully and goes over to a dusty counter. "Awesome! A silencer" I took the silencer and placed it on one of my pistols, "fits well" I gleefully say to Star whom smiles back at me. I lift my eyes and see Flute over there in a back room poking at random things. Curious, I wave Star to come with me and I cautiously ask Flute, "Probably we need a way out huh? Come on Star, why not help find the 'escape hatch' out of this place?" I wink at him and start examining the room.
