( Right. Sorry about that. )
Riv~
Riv walked out of the place and saw the man. He had wondered what in the world happened to him, and why he was so scared. He had never seen him before either. He listened to the words he was saying, maybe he wasn't thinking straight? He watched quietly, he was a bit afraid to go over there.

Malak was kicked in the shin when the person started flailing. "Ouch! Hey, calm down," he nearly yelled, jumping back slightly. After studying the person, a male, he was able to decipher that he was having a panic attack. Those things were nasty. He risked getting closer to the male and grabbed ahold of his shoulders. He gently shook him and said, "Hey, it's okay, it's okay. I'm not going to hurt you. Can you count down? Please, listen to me, I'm here to help you." He kept his tone gentle and caring, trying to get the other to stop long enough for him to help him.

Count? Could he count? He knew he could count up to five but everything past that was too hard to count up to. But counting down? The voice didn't sound like father's, and it was talking gently unlike mother. If it wasn't them then who was it? After a moment he uncurled some though kept his hands on his head. "F-five, four...uh four...two...one." He stammered eyes still wide with fear. The person said they wouldn't hurt him yet he didn't trust them. Mother had said that before she beat him...

"That's it," Malak said softly. "Take some deep breaths, okay? Do it with me. In.... out. In..... out." He still had his hands on the other's shoulders. "Do you feel better? Maybe you should come into my home for awhile." Malak began to stand. He heard a familiar voice call out 'hello'. "Yes, over here!" he called.

(Sure, though please try to make longer posts.)
When his master didn't return the Illired slowly made his away back to where they had been last. He hated the smell of humans, save for his master whom smelled more like him now. He waited in the shadows, listening. Nervously the animal like human sat upon his hunches, pointed ears pointed forward as he waited for his master to return. What if his master didn't return? What would he do then? Lord who would feed him?!

He took short sharp breaths for a moment before relaxing a bit. Slowly he relaxed, hands coming off of his head and breathing returning to normal though he was still shaking. "Home?" Was it a home really? Was it like his home? He wasn't sure how to answer, as much as he wanted to stay he was too afraid to. What if these people hurt him? Or worse what if he hurt them? Though at the same time he longed for the affection and comfort of another. Even the hands about his shoulders seemed to excite him in a why he had never known imaginable. What could staying for a few minutes hurt?

"Yeah. It's just over there in that hut. I could get you some water, maybe some herbal tea. I've made a tea meant to relax you and lessen stress. Come. You can be one of my many customers," Malak offered. He started to help the male to his feet. "Do you have any allergies or anything to plants of any sort?"

The sound of movement to his left made him quickly stand, his cat like ears forward. That wasn't his master was it? It didn't smell like his master though his master had been near humans. Was this him then? Cautiously the Illired crept forward on all fours sniffing the air as he did. He gave a low grunt, waiting to hear his master's voice call to him.
"A-allergies?" Gluskin asked standing. His body was shaking all over and each time the man went to touch him he flinched slightly his hands jerking to cover his already scarred face. "What are those?" It wasn't that he was stupid, it was just that he had never had anyone willing to teach him those sort of things. And what on earth was tea?
