"Yeah, real food would be nice." he said. "But I guess we gotta make do with what we have."
he continued to eat his goo.

"Yeah," Darrian said stuffing another forkful of goo into her mouth.

Dustin finished up his plate and stood up to go throw it away. After he threw the plate away he waited by the door of the cafeteria.

Dumping her scraped clean plate into the trash, Darrian speed walked to catch up with Dustin.

"Back to hunting down the missing person." he said smiling while walking out the door.

Darrian followed him, her mind going into a blank state. She surveyed the halls for their crew member.

Laney sprinted back into the barracks, praying no one had seen her. Her feet skidded against the ground as she rounded the corner leading towards the simulator. "Shoot shoot shoot," she muttered. She saw everyone leaving the simulator room and sighed. "Guess I did miss it. Whoops." She shrugged and began to stroll off towards the cafeteria.

Darrian began to panic, "Laney?" She surveyed the hals and spun around. "Laaaannnnneeeeeeyyyyy!"

Laney had ducked in the cafeteria and snatched some fruit off the side table. She didn't want to draw attention by getting breakfast way after anyone else, but she needed to eat something. She darted out of the lunchroom and walked leisurely down the hallway, munching on an apple. She heard Darrian's voice, and winced. Oops.
Maybe I should have told them. She sped up and took another bite of her apple before yelling, "Hey Darrian!"
