@Talyn, I totally agree with you. Italian dressing is my go-to marinade and frying/baking base when the rest of my cupboard is bare; and sometimes even when it's not. I pour it on vegetables before I roast them (it even makes Brussels sprouts palatable, if you're like me and hate those little green balls of hell), and soak chicken or fish in it before baking. It's also great poured over fresh sliced cucumbers and tomatoes, which I made for my lunch today.

D= I must try those cheesecake thingies and potatoes! -stomach growls-

I...will not post my 30-page long file of recipes...that would be...long. Instead, i will post a homemade recipe that my family absolutely loves. Made this a lot while away at college. Once or twice one of my roommates would ask to try some. One loved it so much, she asked me to make it for her sister's birthday (and a few times just for her.) I like it because it is fairly easy, extremely tasty, and it can be made on a student budget. It's also very easy to make for just one person, or a whole family.

The main ingredients are:
-Boneless, skinless chicken breasts(One for each person you will be feeding)
-Cream cheese (softened, because you'll be mixing it with most of the other ingredients)
-Shredded cheese (Any kind works)
-Bacon
-Spinach(pre-cooked works best, because it is easier to mix in. I usually thaw frozen, but you could probably steam some fresh before-hand. I've never tried it with uncooked fresh spinach, because the large pieces might be a tad bit difficult to work with.)
(The spinach can be substituted by probably any chopped or small green vegetable, but I've never tried it. I think broccoli would be a top choice for substitutes.)

What you do is cute a slit in the chicken, but not all the way through. You can leave it like that, or continue to carve out the inside of the chicken with a knife (for best results). Line the inside of your chicken with the bacon. in a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese, spinach, and cheese. There isn't really a measurement for this. Just mix however much you prefer(I've always preferred a lot of cream cheese with not a lot of spinach, and a generous amount of cheese. can never have enough cheese!) Now all you do is stuff the chicken with the cream cheese mixture. I usually make it a bit over the top of the chicken, but it is really however much you want in there. Finally, sprinkle any seasonings you want on there (Usually I put some salt, pepper, seasoning salt, and garlic salt. Not a lot of any of those, but enough to give it flavor.) You can also sprinkle on some bread crumbs, but again, that's optional.
another option is to place a piece of bacon on top of the chicken as well, after you put the seasoning on. You can also sprinkle some cheese, but be careful because sometimes it will burn/brown. Sometimes I like it that way, though.
Then you bake it at 375 for 45 minutes. (Sometimes it takes a bit longer, depending on the size/thickness of the chicken.)

It's not hard, and it ends up delicious. It is really good paired with an alfredo pasta or a salad. You could really experiment with the seasonings too.. Some day I'd like to try it with some italian dressing sprinkled on top (or even some put in the middle before the bacon)

Another easy not-so-recipe is my cupcake brownies, which were a huge weekly hit in my apartment at school. For those all you do is prepare two mixes separately, one brownie and one cake(preferably vanilla/white/funfetti unless you want super chocolate overload). Line a muffin tin with cupcake holders, and pour in about a tablespoon of the cake mixture. Next, pour in about the same amount of brownie mix. For bake time, I think you follow the time on the cake mix, or go a little bit in between both. I almost always purposely undercook my baked goods (except scones. Those don't do well undercooked). It gives it a bit moister of a texture, and does especially well with these cupcake brownies. It gives you a gooey chocolate brownie center that is toned down a bit by the cupcake mix. My roommates actually preferred these without icing. The best part is, the cupcake tends to bake around the brownie, and so it gives you kind of a filled cake effect with ti. Careful though, these make a LOT. Be ready to feed your neighbors as well, if you can bear to part with them. =)

Thats all I have right now, at a risk of making a super long, wordy post. I could go on for hours about cooking and baking...

Also, we need more dinner recipes XD I'm in charge of cooking dinner for my family every night, and i think they are getting tired of the same stuff over and over xD

The most dangerous cookie recipe ever: Hot Chocolate Cookies. They use an obscene amount of chocolate, which is why they're both so bad and so good. XD Also! Secret ingredient: add 1 tsp of cinnamon in with the dry ingredients for that little extra something.

I'm not much inclined to cook but baking has become a hobby of mine over the past couple of years. I do mainly bread and cookies from scratch, no mixes allowed. I can't wait to get myself a pizza stone to really step my game up. :D
