So, I am someone that really really loves to cook and I'm always looking for new recipes to try! I am seriously addicted to Pinterest and scouring the food section on the site lol.
So I thought it'd be a good idea to make a recipe/cooking thread here in case some of of you know of something that is completely delicious that I must try! Lol
I will also share some recipes that are a favorite of mine.
This is an absolutely freaking A M A Z I N G potato dish that you all must make if you love cheesy delicious potatoes. Picture is clickable...it leads to the recipe. You seriously have to try them...they are heavenly. (I am actually making these potatoes too for dinner right now! lol)
If you have a slow cooker and like "Bourbon Chinese Chicken" that you get from like Chinese buffets you have to try this too. They call the recipe Honey Sesame Chicken...but the flavor reminds me of Bourbon Chinese Chicken lol.
And some scrumptious delicious Banana Poke Cake. I made this for dessert for me and Krin on Thanksgiving. It was very yummies.
That's all I'll add for now though...don't want to post 1000 food pictures and make everyone drool too much. >.>

Those three photos were enough to make me hungry.
Actually, I get hungry all the time, I am hungry all day long.
I don't really cook much, but I do love delicious food.
Sometimes me and my friend get together and cook something, tho it's mostly pretty simple, 'cause we are hungry and we don't like to wait for food. ;o
I have been wanting to make curry and rice, the Japanese style, for a while now. Never have gotten the chance. ; 3;

Oh my. All of those just look simply TANTALIZING.
Sadly, my cooking is...less than below average. xD
I think this is the extent of my cooking abilities:
1. Boil Water
2. Put Ramen or Pasta noodles in water and wait
3. ??? (Throw...some stuff on the noddles)
4. PROFIT (Food is served)
I'm pitiful at this. xD

I should preface this by stating that I don't care for the taste of wild game. My husband's family is a long line of hunters, though, so over the six years we've been together, I have developed and refined this recipe each time he brings home a deer, until it has arrived in this final incarnation: a savory stew that completely eliminates the gamey flavor of the meat while showcasing how lean and tender it is.
Moxie's Venison Stew
Ingredients
2 - 3 venison backstraps (approx. 1 pound), cut into chunks
2 Tbsp olive oil
4 potatoes, cubed
4 carrots, sliced (or 1/2 bag baby carrots)
2 cans (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
1 pkg mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp onion powder (or if you prefer, 1 small onion, diced)
2 1/2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup red wine
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp oregano
2 bay leaves
black pepper to taste
Preparation
1. Brown venison in olive oil over medium heat
2. Add all ingredients in slow cooker and mix well
3. Cook on high 4 - 6 hours
If you don't own a slow cooker, use this alternate method:
1. In Dutch oven or stock pot, brown venison in olive oil over high heat
2. Add other ingredients to meat and mix well
3. Turn heat to low and simmer 1 1/2 hours

Here's another one of mine. It's super easy, delicious, and even healthy. No cooking involved! Vegetarian and gluten-free, this is a great addition to specialized diets as well as an energy-packed meal. Really delicious in summer.
One-Step Bean Guacamole
Ingredients
1 avocado
1 15-ounce can kidney beans
2 Tbsp fresh chopped cilantro, OR 1 tsp cilantro paste
1/2 cup prepared salsa
Salt and pepper to taste (optional)
Preparation
Slice the avocado in half and twist the halves gently to separate. Remove the pit. Slice the flesh (not the skin) of the avocado in crosswise and lengthwise cuts, each about 1/2 inch apart. Scoop the avocado cubes into a mixing bowl.
Drain the kidney beans. Mash half of them, then add all beans (mashed and whole) to the avocado. Add the cilantro, salsa, salt, and pepper. Stir together until well blended. You will mash up the avocado in the process; that's okay.
I serve this dish cold, in folded tortillas or pita bread halves. It also makes a good dip for tortilla chips, and of course it can always be eaten straight out of the bowl. If you must have meat, add grilled shredded chicken or cooked ground beef.
Enjoy!

So I'll be using this recipe to make chai ice cream today... again.
Basically, the Kevin and Amanda blog is full of all sorts of delicious recipes that my friends and I make on our Culinary Adventures. It's not only worth checking out this recipe, but a lot of them on the site.
Also there's a recipe for that.

I am much better at making desserts then actual meals, though I'm trying to learn new dinner recipes because I'm in charge of cooking dinner for my family on the week days. So thanks for this thread!
Also if anyone has some good vegetarian recipes, please share! My mom and my sister are both vegetarians.
Anyways, here's a recipe for some extremely yummy sopapilla cheesecake bars! (Picture link)
