Do you happen to know if these ads will be animated or not? Much as I do understand the need to fund the site, due to my seizure disorder, I cannot unblock ads hardly ever because the animated ones think it's fun to flash and flicker bright colors at you periodically to get your attention. This could trigger me into having a seizure, so for my own safety, I have to remain pretty ad free with blockers usually.

Well, i suppose if the ads are just Banners, they are fine. (Plus i buy Diamonds pretty regularly anywho)
Now, a quick question(or 2): When are the next Monthly Avi items coming out? I havent seen anything since October.. are they just on hold until the whole 'Megazone+revamps' thing is done?

Fennec and anyone else with AdBlocker. In Chrome: Click the little red stop hand up in the right-hand corner which represents AdBlocker. Select from the drop-down "Don't block ads on this Domain", you have now exempted Sylestia ads.
Krin, you may want to explain to people in the first post how to unblock Sylestia from AdBlocker. I only know the details for Chrome as I don't use any other browsers. ^^

I've seen good MMOs flounder because of non-viable revenue streams and I'd hate for this site to suffer similarly. I've always been impressed by how well it's made/run. I was wondering if you guys had thought of introducing a monthly subscription? I've played MMOs with less content/updates and subbed. I know I'd be happy to spread the cost of real money purchases throughout the year, rather than the event splurges. (I'd likely still do event splurges, but timing my funds to diamond sales can be frustrating sometimes).
I realise subscriptions might make people feel tiered, but ads verses diamond payments already make this a possibility. Trying to balance subscription 'bonuses' can be really tricky, but this community is relatively sensible and most feedback is constructive.
Sylestia has massive potential, I'm keen to see where we're headed.

You should also tie the referrer system into this getting a 30 or 60 day of adfree time would be awesome treat for flaunting syslestia to friends C:

If you're using Chrome, uBlock is much better/easier to use than adblock. You can whitelist/filter and add rules.
