Henry was thirty, he hadn't drunk anything in the past day or so because lack of money. He knew alcohol wasn't the best choice to spend his last few dollars on but it was the closest place. Taking a deep breath, he pushed his way into the pub and took a spot at the bar. he sat next to an older looking man and it hit him. This guy was famous for being the captain of the ship Aura. "Hey, your Jak, right?" He asked.

Catherin was tending to the supplies on the shelves of her parents store. She didn't like her job, she would rather be out doing something else. With a annoyed sigh she began fixing the books in the back left corner, putting them all in Abc order.

With a sigh Archie stepped out of the shadows. It was time he talked to these two one on one. He had to learn there weaknesses, be a 'friend.' Pulling his hooded cape up slightly, trying to cover the tattoos on his face. If these two believed in mythical creatures then they would sure know he was one of them. His glowing eyes and tattoos might give it away but some people just ignored it, like it wasn't happening. "Hey ladies?" He asked unsure of what to say. "I'm new around here and was just wondering if you could help me out? Show me the town?" He asked, hoping they would agree.

Lydia was running, from what she didn't know anymore. It was like no one else could see these shadows chasing her. Trying to grab her and pull her down. She never meant to end up were she did, she couldn't swim and the only option seems to jump. Holding her breath, she jumped into the cold, choppy water. Immediately she started to sink, she didn't know how to swim and she knew she was going to die.

Jak turned his head to the person who just talked to him and narrowed his eyes. " Who wants to know?" he said as he picked up his jug and drank some of his rum from it. He put it down and shouted at someone to re-fill it before looking back at the person who had addressed him. " And why do they care?"

Yeti was strolling along and stopped at a shop. He stared at it for a while before shrugging and going inside. He saw a girl arranging some books and glanced around before walking over to her and tapping her shoulder. " Hi" he said bluntly. " Wonderin' if you have a map? One of the seas around the area?" he added quickly after saying hi.

Dawn turned around and smiled. " Hey of course! We could show you the best places!" she said before scowled by her twin.
" Do you not learn Dawn?! If you don't know someone they may be a pirate or some other selfish person!" Dusk said angrily. " I would half-drown you by a siren song if you where not my twin! " she added before turning to the hooded man. " And may I ask who you are? " she said with a very serious face.
Dawn sighed and pushed her sister. " He is clearly someone who like he said, new to town and needs to be shown around!" she said angrily.
Dusk ignored her sister and carried on staring at the man with cold eyes.

Merin had been swimming around when he heard something hitting the surface of the water. He looked in the direction of the sound, his red hair flying everywhere. " A human sinking? I thought they could swim..." he said before swimming over and hovering over the person. He just stared at her for a while before he grabbed one of her arms and pulled her towards him. He held her to his chest and swam up. Pathetic humans...he thought angrily, can't do anything for themselves...

Henry held his hand up, asking for the same. "Well see, i'm looking for a crew." He said, looking at the man with curious eyes. He knew if this was the person he was looking for, then this guy might have a few screws loose. He heard, that the reason his ship is named Aura, is because his daughter died and he named it after her. "My name is Henry, i'm not really popular around here." He added quickly, lying about the popular part. Most people avoided him because he was a petty thief, stealing whatever he can get his hands on.

Catherin turned around and gave her best merchant smile. She wasn't enthusiastic about her job but she did need to make money. "Ya' don't live 'round here?" She asked, wondering if he was a tourist. People who lived around here knew the seas by heart, so they didn't really sell maps. She would have to check for one anyways, having to make money and all that.

'Siren.' Archie noted. He was starting to get an idea of what he was up against. these two must be sea creatures and in that case he would have to be extra careful. Blinking his glowing orange eyes at them, he tried to give his best smile, even if they couldn't see it. "My name is Rick Youngslaff." He lied, not wanting them to know his true name. "I'm a pirate, just sailed in here." He lied again. He was in fact a Niche, a blood thirsty monster, and he had visited this town just to murder these two. 'Dawn must be the trusting sister.' He noted, thinking about how easy it would to get her alone, and then kill her.

Lydia felt someone's arms around her and she opened her eyes. It was a guy, a little older then her. She could immediately see his fears swimming all around him. She could see the loneliness around him like a dark vale. Trying to speak, it came out a gurgle, water flooding her throat causing her to choke. She didn't notice at first but he was swimming fast. Above human speed...

Jak snorted. " Don't think for a second I would be giving you mine...the Aura crew is a fine crew and a fine ship...not sunk once and wounded a healed quickly thanks to our doctor...so little or none chance you think I would give you crew or ship..." he said before drinking some of his fresh rum.

Yeti shook his head. " Nay...I...moved here recently, a fisherman by heart looking to see the best areas for fishin' and getting gold to feed me and my wife... " he lied easily, making it sound believable. If he wasn't a pirate he would probably be married by now anyway...but pirates are free and marriage is a great thing to avoid...

Dusk's face quickly darkened and Dawn looked slightly scared. " A pirate? Well we shall to no business with the likes of your scum of a species! " Dusk said angrily and backed away from him werily. " Seen you scum to many times...bet your here to kidnap us? Like all the other selfish pirates and creatures..."
Dawn ducked behind her sister. " I predict a storm for us..." she said timidly and Dusk nodded.

Merin burst through the surface of the water and looked at the human. " Your fine then..." he said with a bored tone as he then swam towards the decking close by. He pushed her towards it and slightly lifted her up. " Clime up then...I don't want to spend all day with you!"
His tail the flicked hard and hit against the girl's legs as he waited for her to clime up.

Henry took a sip of his rum and then cleared his throat. "That's not what I meant, I asked if I could join the crew..." He said, correcting himself. He really needed to think about what he said before he said it. People kept mistaking what he said for other things and it wasn't helping his reputation.

Catherin nodded and walked to an older style table. "How much are you willing to spend on this map?" She asked, wondering if she even had one. He was a fisherman so he was probably poor but money was money and she would probably take anything.

Archie took a small step back, knowing that if they fought his mission was a fail. "What do you mean kidnapp? Who are you two?" He asked, fake surprise in his voice. he needed to think of a way to get out of this situation and fast. He would be a fair fight for them but he needed to kill them in secret.

Lydia's legs felt weak and she didn't think she could. Looking up from where she jumped off, chills sent up her spine. There they were, the things she had been running from. "do you see the shadows?" She asked, terror in her voice. She didn't want to get out of the water.

Jak suddenly snorted. " Join my crew? You would have to go through Yeti's test...and he is not gentle with new comers..." he said before smiling. " Want to take a test? You'll have a week aboard my ship, in that week you will do everything Yeti says and if he thinks your good enough...he'll tell me...think you want to join now? The tests during the week will probably shatter your bones..."

Yeti thought. " I only have..." he opened a small leather coin bag and pretended there where only a few copper coins inside. " 20 coppers and 1 silver...would that do?" he lied. The person he had stolen it from had quite a few silvers and lots of coppers, even the shine of two gold coins could be seen.

Dawn looked at the floor. " We are the sea..." Dawn said, her voice slightly happy.
"Tellers, Dawn and Dusk " Dusk said, her voice slightly grim.
" Tellers of storms, waves..."
" And of where the sirens song makes waters calm..."
They finished what they where saying together but Dusk's eyes where even more narrowed. " And we are part of the creatures of water " Dawn added, the meaning no one understood but that was them saying they where half-water spirit.

Merin looked around. " Only shadows I see are natural one's you cowardly human! Now get up! I can feel myself slowly trying on top! Not a feeling I like! " he said angrily as he shoved her against the decking, still holding onto her though.

Henry smiled, this guy was to trusting, easy to steal from... "I've been through worse." He muttered and took a bigger drink of the rum. "So where is this Yeti?" He asked, wondering what someone so cruel would be doing right now. Probably torchering animals, cats more specifically.

Catherin smiled and crouched down, looking through a pile of junk she had shoved under the table. "That's fine." She said, a smile spreading across her face. She was expecting less so it would be fine. "Is that all?" She asked pulling out a wrinkly map.

Archie couldn't help but smile, they sounded ridiculous. "So your water seers." He said and made a mental note. If he could get them away from the water then they would be weak. Almost to easy to beat. "You going around saying this to everyone and your not even scared that they might shun you?" He asked curiously.

"Human?" She whispered, it was true. Everyone mistakes her as a lowely human but she was sure that he would change his mind. "I'm not human." She muttered, She hated that everyone thought her to be weak as those they call humans.

Jak thought. " Probably out somewhere with a stray cat and feeding it...or doing what I said and buying a new map...though he is probably doing what I said first...hugging a cat..." he said sighing.

Yeti smiled and held his hand out to take the map. " If you could be so kind as to let me see it first? I am not that keen on being frauded by a woman..." he said, sounding very sexist as he spoke.
He carried on holding his hand out as he waited for her to put it in his hand to see it. Of course he had no intent in paying her...he was just going to get his pistol out and threaten to shoot her if she tried getting it back...

Dusk narrowed her eyes. " We are fine if near water you scum..." she said angrily, a dark purple hair suddenly going everywhere as a strong gust of wind blew. " And what we give we give for free or little..." she added, not sure if she completely understood what 'shun' meant...even Dawn didn't exactly know.

Merin rolled his eyes. " Yeah...just like I'm not a merman...now get up there you annoying brat! " he said and shoved her again as his tail flicked her legs hard.

Henry laughed and chugged the last of the rum. "Tough guy huh?" He said, questioning this guys logic. If Yeti was such a tough guy then why would he spend his extra time playing around with a flee bag. "Animals are disgusting." he muttered.

Elizabeth could hear voices coming form outside the back room. She wondered if her master was selling something. Curiosity getting the better of her, she changed into her cat form and stalked out of the back room. She could see a man holding his hand out and Catherin holding a map. WIthout thinking she jumped up on the table and rubbed her head against the man's hand.

(Elizabeth is a neko... Btw. She has all white fur and blue eyes.)

"What the hell did I say Lizzy, you ave to stay in the backroom. You just like disobeying orders don'tcha." Catherin scolded the cat. Sometimes her slave could be so moronic, she wondered how much she could sell fo. Probably get a gold coin from the flea bag.

Archie cleared his throat, hoping he could change the subject. "Look, all I wanted was for you to show me around th-..." He got cut off because a strong gust of wind caught his cape and ripped it open revealing his tattoos and glowing orange eyes. He decided to play it off like it was nothing. "The town." He finished.

Lydia refused to climb up on the dock, the shadows were holding there hands out for her but she refused to take them. "Please don't make me go towards the shadows." She begged. The shadows were the souls of all the people she murdered. She needed to take there souls to live but the ones that wouldn't go easily came back to torcher her often.
