@Babaaeyes

Is this what you asked for?

@Soltra8
Thankes c:
I've been spriting for well over a decade(well since I was first plopped at a computer) but I've only been working with scratching in a pokemon based style for 3-4ish years.
Practice does make perfect. The more you do it, the better you'll get.
But like they say, use it or lose it. If you refine your skills and then quit them, you may remember how to do so but if you don't continue it eventually gets lost.
I tend to avoid doing sprite edits because it doesn't help improve personal spriting and I'd rather not lose that skill.
As for the comment on my name, I've been using it online since I was 9. It's the name of a character I created for a story. XD

It kinda reminded me about anime, and the name I'm using been with me since Beast Quest came out ^^ll And I guess I'll work on my skills a little... I still can't draw a sprite's hands >< And woah that's one cute Zorua :O How long did you take? :O I've only done sprite edits (pokemon sprites) and recently moved to trainer sprites from bases... I think I've still got a long way to go, but as you said, practice makes perfect ^^ So hopefully I get gd enough to show some of mine here XD

Ironically I created the name by putting an A on the end of Animal and spelled it the way I pronounced it. (Ahn-ih-mel-la)
Had absolutely no clue what Anime was back then even though I was constantly watching Pokemon. XD
For time, it took maybe an hour, I just had to finish another artty thing first. I Have the box and its shading as a base already from the very first one I made with a Pikachu.

This one actually. I made two different bow variations. I personally prefer the neat bow varation so I tend to stick with it. Someone mentioned birthday pikachu a while back for something so I kinda threw it together. Have made a couple since. I do plan on doing all 700-800(?)+ once I have the time.

And actually, rather than thinking you're not good enough to post anything, post whatever you want.
The best way to find what you're doing wrong when you just can't figure it out is to get someone other than the artist to point out the flaws. Tips can be given on what to touch up or alter which can improve your spritework overall as you notice the flaws the next time you first make them so they can quickly be fixed before they can become an issue.

Trust me, I've seen plenty of pixel artists who "wanted to improve" who after a while stopped taking any help at all or were quick to call their work "Perfect". Habitually this makes me very against improper spriting schools because you end up with teachers who really shouldn't be teaching. Common thing that problematic teachers forget to teach is to recolour the lines on a sprite you're working on if you're doing an edit or to make sure you save in png and not jpg. Jpg screws with your sprite's colours because its meant for large 1000x1000+ photographs not 80x80 pixel projects.

That's one way to come up with the name ^^ (It's still really nice~) And woah! But the time was worth it, no? The presents are soo cute! nd I wish you luck with that many ^^ll I wonder how you're gonna do legendarys like Reshiram, Lugia and Genesect though... Anyway, gd luck with that ^^ I can't wait to see them, that is if you are alright with showing it ><
Ah, alright. Once I go through my sprites again when I'm free, I'll post them here~ Still doing recolors and revamps though ^^ll Can't draw trainer sprites very well.... or scratch sprites in general.... And thanks for that advise!
