You quickly shake your head. They were here, but there's no hope of them still being here.

A whole wolfin deer! That's crazy luck! But, I guess were due for some luck with how things are right now. Lokin thinks. Now that he is as close as he can get to the deer, he quickly plots his course of action. Hunting a deer is best done with more than one wolf, but given the circumstances, that wasn't possible right now. Lokin lines himself up and in a flurry of motion, leaps onto the deer's back, jaws snapping for it's neck.

The deer kicks you, and you sprawl onto the ground.

Ruthless think to himself Maybe splitting up wasn't a good idea. I am in the middle of nowhere. I must find my way back to rendezvous. every wolf for themselves.

I leap up snarling, and can tell there is a fresh bruise blossoming on my flank. I circle the deer and try to herd it into the stream, where I would have the advantage.

It'll never happen, I think angrily. Where is my pack? They've got to be around. I should probably follow the stale scent...or not. I take a hesitant step forward, deep in thought.

You turn around, but then stop as you hear a soft howl.

I make my decision to take off on my own until I can find my members. I quickly find a den to claim as home and mark my territory in the unknown territory. seems like no one is living in these woods. I think I will find a home for now. until I find my way back to the pack.

The deer goes to the stream, fearful.
