Again, he agreed with Akira. "They take away everything from you that you love the most. At first, it will be little things," he started, his voice expressionless but his eyes full of the pain he felt. That's why he kept looking at the ground. "Little things, like a few of your valued possessions, go missing and you never seem to find them. But then it works its way up to the things that you would give up your life for, things that you wish it was you instead of them."

She nodded. " Like people. Which is why you should never get close to anyone. Ever. "

"I'm pretty sure I have nothing valuable other than my old life, the clothes I am wearing, and my book... Are you alright?" Lilura says to Casey, noticing the way he kept looking at the floor. "Anything I can do to help?"

He almost said that it wasn't his fault that he got close to his parents, but he held his tongue and shook his head. "No. There's nothing you can do about it." His hands were clenched into fists

"I'm sorry. I am really, really sorry." Lilura says, backing away with wide eyes when his hands bunched into fists.

He shook his head, looking away. "It's not your fault," he muttered. He stared at the entrance, hate making his eyes piercing. "It's theirs."

(Cue the Imperial March as 'they' come in at that exact moment)

Lilura follows his gaze to the entrance. "Oh... I see... I am still sorry. For you and Akira. And all of us."

He didn't respond. He distanced himself from the girls.

Lilura shudders and curls in on herself as she watches her cellmates with animated eyes. Why, oh, why did she feel so awfully lost and alone? She rests her back against the wall, back in her origional position near the door. She lays her head on her arms before shaking her head and taking out her book, beginning to read again.
