"Well of course! I never had much of a family growing up so we could have some fun." Arrowbyn playfully swats his tail at Rain and completely misses. "But before we get to far along I would think you would be thirsty after walking through theses mountains, I sure am!" He turns to Rain and whispers "Th-Thank you back there for helping me with the jump."

Arrowbyn trots along happily smelling for water and grass and looking for a safe place to cross the canyon. He keeps one eye on the tops of the mountains looking for the predators and one eye on the tiny trail, he is not a good climber.

he was lapping from the river then joined you in drinking from the water.
Dottie looked up after taking her fill, spanning the surroundings above her. She looked for a way up, no matter how obviousness.
