(Forgot to ping you too, whoops)

Something lit up in the distance. Was that a Holocaster? Again? "I would love to." Gradient told Ailla. His purple eyes narrowed. "But I need to check on something." Gradient said hastily, quickly sprinting away. Sharp tree branches reopened Gradient's 'blood whiskers' causing Gradient pain.

But Gradient had learned to accept and use pain as fuel a long time ago. Mother had taught him that lesson.

Hours upon hours of simulations had prepared Gradient for a running-in-the-forest kind of situation. Gradient started doing this weird skipping/hopping motion, that made him look like a maniac. But it was certainly quicker than running and tripping over roots and Caterpies every five meters.

Gradient had learned that lesson the hard way.

But then there was no more light, and Gradient continued going in that direction steadily. Hopefully he would find something to do with that reaccuring Holocaster.

But for the first time, Gradient felt like he would not succeed this time.

It was the first time in his life in which he felt this way.

Huh.

"Oh...ok." Ailla said disappointed and more then a little hurt. But she just shook it off buried it inside and smiled. "Ok, Maby." She noticed you left. "Next. Time..." she sighed. "Guess I'm the only one who has yet to battle a trainer." She joked merrily. "Come on guys. Let's just go train or somthing!" Ailla said exited once again beckoning her Pokmon.

"Aw, come on Allia, I haven't had a battle with another trainer either, that doesn't mean anything" Sylver reassured Allia. "Ehem, I'm right here" Rhys coughed, reminding Sylver of the battle they just had. "I meant with a GOOD trainer, Rhys" Sylver snapped back at him. "You can battle me if you want" Sylver volunteered.

Yuri and Thomas were off a few yards from the others just out of earshot. the two were discussing what ever Thomas had scribbled in the note book earlier and they seem to be arguing slightly as they did.

"Well, I'll be off now, I'm going to expand my team a little, I already have the perfect Pokemon in mind" Rhys told the others as he walked off. Sylvester gave a quick wave, not bothering to turn around.

Ailla smiled way more exited then she should have been. "Yah! Let's do it!" Ailla said. Beaming.

"Alright! I'll send out..." Sylver thought for a moment "Rai! Let's go!" Sylvester sent out her Pichu.

"Ok...star! Let's roll! Ailla said sending her Pokmon out it leaped into battle doing insteady flips in the air and landing in a cute pose which it almost fell on landing. "Eev!" It said cutely. "Great job! A little more practice and it'll be perfect!" Ailla complemented. "Ok, you ready?" Ailla asked. (Assuming you say yes) "ok, quick eevee use quick attack!" Ailla ordered getting really serious. The eevee rocketed twords your pichu fast landing a decently weak but affective attack.

"Rai, use spark!" Sylver called to her pichu. Pichu did a little twirl, trying to be cuter than eevee, and then used a powerful spark attack.
