She kept looking over her shoulder. She was tense and Storm could sense that. Storm also became tense.

There was a rustling in the bushes and Storm charged forward. Branches slapped Skyler in the face, but she didn't scream.

"What the-" Because of Storm's sudden movement, Knight stampeded forward as well, a startled whinny sounding as he ran. "Skyler- are you- okay?" Jackson managed to yell as he tried to strengthen his hold on Knight's tack.

Storm slowed after a while and Skyler said, "Yeah." She had some cuts on her face from the branches, but other than that she was untouched.

Jackson had pressed himself flatter against Knight, so he didn't have many cuts. "Oh god- we need to get you back right now." He and Knight stopped and he swung off, walking over to Storm to calm her down. "Ugh, Brooke's better with calming horses than I am."

She nodded again, stunned. She got off Storm and attempted at mounting Knight. Knight was a little bigger than Storm was. She bit her lip and tasted blood. She just hoped none of the cuts would get infected
