Scar nodded. He blew on the broth intending to cool it slight. He ate some of it. He still felt strange.

Scar looked at Ela. He couldn't do anything to help her. He just went back to eating the broth. He finished it and his stomach felt warm.

(Btw, in case you're wondering, Afrilla handed her characters to me. She has a lot of school work, and her parents keep moving to find jobs :l)

She was drinking mechanically, as if she was asleep but her eyes were open and she was just going through the movements.
