I skipped Kindergarten because my parents had already taught me to read, so first grade was the beginning of my school "career." But I was so shy that I didn't speak a word out loud for the first half of the school year lol. Not really stupid per se, but it's the craziest thing I can think of at the moment lol.

Ok...this story is weirder than anyone else's probably will be, but when I was really little me and my siblings would run around and slam our butts into each other. It was a game...it was weird. I cringe to this day. XD

TV rec: This time I'll go with classic old favourites, rather than new underrated shows. Star Trek. Voyager and DS9 were my favourite shows since I was 8, and probably still hold their place up there, even against all the great modern TV out there.
I've been rewatching Frasier and Seinfeld and they stand the test of time too.
House (if we ignore the last couple of seasons) was great and I'm currently on my 4th rewatch.
I just started watching Community (it wasn't available in my country until now - or at least not that I was aware of) and wow, I had no idea just how many lines from it I've seen on the internet before without knowing what people were referencing! I'd been worried Community would be a let-down from how talked-up it is by the fans, but nope, it is as good as they've been saying.

Holiday fact: March 28 is International Laser Tag Day!

Favourite Animal fact: The first ever air-to-ground radio transmission was "Roy, come get this damn cat" because some geniuses thought it was a good idea to take a cat with them on an attempt to cross the Atlantic in an airship. He was running around howling and annoying them so they stuffed him in a bag and tried to lower him down to a boat. They couldn't due to bad weather so they had to pull him back up. The airship eventually crashed. Thankfully the kitty survived and was adopted by one of the crew.

Piercing/Tattoos: None of either, I am far too wussy about pain. Sometimes when I see pretty earrings I sorta wish I'd had my ears pierced as a baby so I couldn't wuss out of it, but ultimately, nah it's probably not worth the effort to keep the holes from closing up. If I were to get a tattoo it would probably be something simple and generic like flowers, leaves or stars, so there was little possibility of regretting it, the way I'm sure happens a lot with names and fandom related tattoos.

Water fact: the freezing point of water lowers as the amount of salt dissolved in at increases. With average levels of salt, seawater freezes at -2 C

Plant fact: Only 1 percent of the known rainforest plant species have been thoroughly examined for their medicinal potentials.Who knows how many cures for diseases are just sitting in the middle of the Amazon waiting to be discovered (If stupid humans don't extinct them first)

Dumb thing I did as a kid: I hate coconut. For years I would keep trying Cherry Ripes and being very confused as to why I didn't like them. I would keep eating them as if I expected them to suddenly taste nice the next time. Finally I read the label properly for the first time when I was about 8 or 9 and realize they're full of coconut. I still maintain that coconut should be in the name, since they're at least 50% coconut.

Honourable mention to the time I tried to defrost a juice box with a foil lining in the microwave when I was about 12 or 13. It caught fire - only for a second, but still. I drank it anyway, which I now look back on and wonder if I'm gonna get cancer from some chemical that might have leeched out.
