"Hmmm well then I guess I'll just have to keep making fun of you for almost falling off of the horse when it was barely moving." He replied, turning back to face the sky again.

"Are you ever gonna let that go?" She asked with a sigh. The sun was almost behind the mountains.

"Not until I find something even worse. You're spending summer here, remember?" Jackson laughed, before getting up and folding up his stuff. "We should head back."

She got out of the tree and mounted Storm after she untied her.

He had done the same, and was now on Knight. "You ready?"

She nodded. "I'm about as ready as I'll ever be." She absolutely hated the dark...more like a phobia. She had seen things as a little kid and wasn't quite ready to overcome it. "Do you have a flashlight or something?"

"Sure... I think I do." He dug through the the pouch on the side of the saddle, suddenly freezing. "Uh- um, well, I kind of forgot to change the batteries in it, but you have your phone, right? I left mine back there because this was kind of an impromptu ride."

She nodded and pulled out her phone. She turned the flashlight on, and it let out a weak light. Nonetheless, she was happy to have some light rather than no light.

"Okay good." Knight began walking again and they started down the trail. "Watch out for anything on the ground, okay?"

She made sure the light shone on the ground
