Aydan shrugged again. "It's not like I can let her sleep in my office or something. And I wouldn't be taking her away from Itri for the rest of her life. He's the only thing that keeps her sane as far as I can tell. They'd visit each other. The scientists that take care of her are actually pretty nice, as far as I can tell. She'll be fine. As for Itri, I'd like to think he'll just keep on doing what he has been doing for the majority of his life. Sitting in my office and reading while I work. Unfortunately, I doubt that that will happen now. Honestly I don't want to cage either of them up again. They're children, they need to be able to run around and make friends. I don't know what I'll do."

"Well...is there anyone who would take care of them?Like a foster home?" she asked thoughtfully.

Aydan rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I don't know. I'm not allowed to leave the lab, and I'm not really comfortable with Itri going somewhere without me, but with the girl... I suppose one of the scientists could take her home so that she could experience a real family and have a chance at a childhood. She wouldn't be able to go to school for obvious reasons, but other than that it would be nice. She's so distrustful, though. I doubt she would be willing to go through with something like that."

"Good point.She really didn't like me at first,but..hm."She looked at the steel walls of the hallway."I'm not really sure what to do anymore.Like,I wanna stay and help,but I wanna run and be free."

"As I said earlier, do whatever you want" Aydan said. "I don't know what you would do if you left, though. Your father's dead and your mother hates you. There's really nowhere for you to go"

She sighed."I'm not sure.i guess I'll stay and help out,or whatever..."

"I'm glad" Aydan said "Let's get going, now that that's somewhat settled." He walked back to the other two children and pat Itri on the head. "Are you going to come with us?" He asked the girl.

The young girl nodded, but still kept her distance from Aydan.

"Oh really? Did you decide on anything?" Aydan said, smiling warmly.

"I didn't agree to the last one!" The girl shouted from a little ways down the hallway. "It doesn't suit me!"

Aydan stifled a laugh, causing Itri to glare at him angrily.

She looked questioningly at the three then moved on following the others.

Noticing her confused expression, the nameless girl moved over to Ashes to explain what they were talking about to her. "Itri and I were talking about name ideas for me while you were talking to his father. We had narrowed it down to Lacey and Sorin, but when Itri was telling his father about it, he added Hermione to the list, even though when he suggested it earlier I turned it down. Apparently it's the name of a book character he likes or something. It wasn't anything important or interesting. Anyway, can you tell me more about the outside world?"

"Lacey is cool." She said to the girl."well,if you ever go outside the lab,you can find all kinds of animals and life..." She told the girl all about outside the lab.(I just got off christmas break so sorry for the late reply I've been busy in school lately.)
