I do not fall asleep because of the chirping of crickets but the venes and female nixi falls asleep

I roll over, and see him, I look him straight in the eyes, his eyes glowing red. I swear I can here a huff and puff from his mouth

When he moves away I have no clue where he went but I am honestly too scared to open my eyes

The male nixi is chasing me up a mountain, then we come to an edge, hanging over lava, the nixi growls and bites the air next to me. The venes are flying trying to save me, and the female is crying half way down the mountain... then the nixi charges and I fall... and-wake up
