The powder slips out of your fingers too easily to keep. You would need a bag of some sort to hold it.
I cannot provide you with a map as no one has ever bothered to map this area, but you are at the Squall Cliffs.

The wall stands there, like it had always been there, except it is far too clean to have been there for long, and dust is settling near the bottom as if the wall displaced it recently. Amidst the swirling dust, you see something bright.
