"You're welco- hey!" Jackson yelled, before urging Knight forward so he was at the same speed. His eyes looked up to observe the last little wisps of sunset as it the sun dipped away in the distance.

She admired the sunset, biting her lip. She always did that. It was a horrible habit of hers, ever since her dad died, anyway. "The sunset isn't quite as beautiful here as it was in New Jersey. The smog made it beautiful. I would always sit on the roof and watch it disappear." She was talking to herself more than to him.

He just nodded, his gaze still fixed on the scene. After a few seconds he snapped out of it. "Umm, it's getting dark, we should turn around Skyler. I'm not going to be responsible for losing a student, even if she's an annoying one."

She smiled. "Thank you! Do we have to though? We don't have to go any farther, I just wanna watch the sun set."

He sighed, then debated for a few seconds before finally nodding. "Alright- only five minutes though." He knew it was going to be longer though, and pulled Knight to a stop. He skillfully dismounted the gelding and knotted the lead rope to a small fence on the side of the trail.

He pulled a thin blanket out from the small pouch on the side of the saddle and laid it down on the ground, before plopping right down in the middle, feeling satisfied that Skyler had no room to sit on the blanket completely.

Skyler disjointed and tied Storm up next to Knight. She smiled at Jack and climbed up a tree, sitting on a sturdy branch above him. She smiles to herself and started at the sunset.

He was quiet, a small smile on his lips. He tented his fingers in his lap and leaned forward to rest on them. "I should do this more often."

"Can I come out here every night?" she asked, not looking away from the sky.

"Sure. But you can't forget to take me with you." He grinned, glancing up at her in the tree.

She looked down at him. "No guarantees," she said, smirking.
