"Alrighty, thank you!" She waved to the sailors and departed from the dock, returning to the town. She went to look through the markets for anything or anyone interesting or helpful to her journey.

It seemed like a carnival was on and the place was excitable and chatty. A few shops were open selling goods, jewellery and gifts. There were quite a few freshly baked pastry and sweeter food stalls open. Decorations were being sold right and left.

"Sister?" Lisette stared at the ice cream shop, wondering if it was Lara that she really saw. She walked along the canal, looking on at the festivities, then entered the ice cream shop.

Lara and the man were there, eating icecream. he seemed polite and formal, smiling kindly.

She fumbled quickly to catch it, grasping the hilt in one hand and letting the blade rest flat on her left palm. She lifted and lowered it slightly, for such a lithe sword, it was surprisingly heavy. She glanced up and down the blade, taking it in. She had rarely even seen any sort of weapon before, except what the guards had carried, but those were tucked away in shears or belts.
Beautiful... she muttered softly under her breath, too busy studying the katana to reply.
