There almost seems to be some sort of membrane keeping it solid. Excluding the tail, of course. It does indeed feel like sand, though. It does bat at her with its paws, but it either doesn't have claws or isn't using them, so it's not doing any harm.

"It's made of sand. Seems harmless though." She identified aloud, staring at the thing with her usual deadpanning glare.

It eventually stops struggling, just staring at Neth. Despite being in blatant distress, it doesn't appear to be breathing. It doesn't have any visible gills, so maybe it simply doesn't breathe.

She stared back at the creature, wondering if it was undead, or something of the sort.

Nila glances at Neth. She doesn't say anything, but it's a pretty obvious "now what?" face.

She simply shrugged, staring at the creature. "You can do what you want with it. I don't care."

She pokes at the creature, still holding it by the coral with her other hand. It turns to Nila again. It almost seems to be glaring at her.

Nethimir stared at it with an amused look, but quickly went back to her usual glare.

It starts to growl. It, frankly, doesn't sound intimidating in the slightest.

Nethimir let out a half-hearted chuckle, looking over at Nila. "It's like one of those human-pets. What are they called? Cats?"
