I then hear branches breaking behind me so I quickly look behind me and see a hunter with his gun loaded and ready. The Vene continues to roar and look just behind me at him.

The female goes back to the fallen Vene and tries to get him up as the hunter takes aim at them

I reach down to the strap on my ankle that has a small pistol strapped down. I pull it out and stand behind a tree taking a deep breathe. I peer around the corner and see the hunter's cold eyes.

I put my finger on my lips while looking towards Glyph. I keep it there til she notices and stops whimpering. Then I look at the guy, curious.
