Ash shrugged, leaning against the wall. "Which name do you want? I got plenty of 'em."

"How about the one you usually use?" Mateo stood up and crossed his arms. "Or better yet. Leave this room. You're scaring my brother."

Meinke was still frozen in fear.

"Hmm." He pretended to think about it. "I think I'll stay."

"Except that you're not family. This is the ICU ward. Only family, unless dictated otherwise. So, I think you need to leave. Preferably now." Mateo said. He'd moved so he was standing between this stranger and Meinke's bed, but closer to Meinke's bed, hoping to partially block Meinke from having to see this...creep.

"What if they said I could come up here? You forget how manipulative people can be." He wasn't worried too much.

"Just because they said it doesn't mean I say it. Ther'es a little thing called consent. If I don't want you in my brother's room, you can't come in. Now get out or I'm calling the staff."

He shrugged. "Go for it, kid."

Mateo simply reaches over and grabs the hospital phone, dialing up the number as he does so. "There's a visitor we don't want that doesn't want to leave, can you guys please send someone to kick him out?"

He stays right where he is, with a raised eyebrow

A few minutes later, a nurse clears her throat behind him. "Excuse me Mr. Xandori, is this the "visitor" you don't want?"

"Yep." Mateo confirms.

She turns to Ash. "I'm sorry sir, but you need to leave. Unless you are direct family, there is no reason for you to be here if the patient and his direct family don't want you here.
