"so your vague answer was uh--- a bit hypocritical in my opinion"
"I never accused you of fear-mongering so it wasn't hypocritical."
Please read everything so what I say isn't misinterpreted. I never accused you of calling me one of those people who accused you of fear-mongering, I was just stating that my sentence isn't hypocritical.
And you've had *something* to say about everything I've said
It sounds like there are hard feelings, do you need to talk about something? The only thing I had something to say about what you said was on masks, and if I recall correctly while you didn't accept it in the thread you updated the main post with some of what I said.
I don't like tip-toeing around things, please state if you have a problem because I'm honestly on here to chill with everyone. As you said, let's be proactive and not reactive and solve our issues.

Yeah I do have a problem. A migraine the size of the sun and alot of things to do. Its....its not really something against you *personally* >.> I'm just--- I don't like that there are other people who have accused me of creating unnecessary panic-- or don't actually read anything and just want to argue. I don't find it fair personally that I'm trying to be--maybe a little softer with my words (atleast now), meanwhile you come straight out with "Kids aren't safe."
Theres just---theres just--- I mean--- w o w.
So my problem? You didn't say anything about how the death rate is *way* lower for young people, or how they can still spread it. I don't want to have to be actively sugarcoating the things I say to more conform to the peoples mindset so they arent like "abnormaly freaked out" and then have you come around my back and say something like that. The thread is public, but you don't seem concerned about *my concerns*. Which is that your answer is lacking context.
And also, your complaining that your school closing, but that *is proactivity*.

The question was if kids were safe from coronavirus. On its own, kids arent safe is bad, but in a response to a question asking if kids were safe? Theres no way to sugarcoat it and the first conclusion to be drawn isnt kids are dropping like flies. Especially if they said that they havent really noticed that kids have been dying.
Please dont take your frustrations on those people out on me if I havent done anything. I didnt go behind your back either for you to have to come sugarcoat it, I answered a yes or no question with a no. Are you afraid that people will accuse you of fear mongering due to my actions?
And it is fair because no one except yourself is holding you to that standard. A standard that you havent even said to me up until now. You yourself are trying to adhere to a personal standard so its not unfair if I dont adhere to yours, thats not how it works. Thats like me getting mad at someone for eating junk food because I myself am on a diet. But in this case I didnt even view my statement as fear mongering so the analogy is not completely the same.
If you want me to elaborate then just ask me to elaborate instead of being passive aggressive about it. I didnt feel like elaborating because the discussion we had recently had me elaborating and you glossing over the majority of it, so I didnt feel like elaborating my no to a yes or no question in that case. Just ask.
Oh, and no where have I complained that school is closing. I said that school was closing and expressed my shock over it. Id like you to please find me where I complained about school closing.
I understand that you have nothing against me personally, and I feel the same about you. Take some rest and come back later if you have a migraine, stay safe and feel better :)

Hey, both of you-
There's a reason I haven't updated in awhile.
The point of this thread isn't to publicly display your arguments. If you want, take it to PMs but I doubt people really want to read this.
Sleep, if you want to elaborate on Mireille's responses so as to tone it down a little, then please do so without the passive-aggressiveness, which, to be honest, is kind of irritating to me without even being involved.
I think both of you are getting upset over some trivial things. If you're having a bad day, it might be wise to take your focus off this thread for awhile. Again, this thread is to inform people, not argue with each other.
I have no idea if both if you are going to rage at me now, but this is the first and only time I will step into this argument, that is, unless it happens again.

I am actually pretty annoyed that I've avoided drinking soda this whole year but someone brought about 3 bottles of mountain dew home yesterday >.>
