Zev looked around. He rather liked the idea of heading back in. Talking was rather nice. He looked to his master then Gale waiting for a decision.

He nod, it was better to come back with the right equipement anyway. Ignoring the strange glance from his friend he smile at him. " Sure, the others must be looking for us by now !"

I glanced at Zev warily, he seemed fine, and Gale had paid him little mind thankfully. I turned towards one of the gates in the fence leading out towards the front of the Academy, contrary to going back the way we came in. The gate was far closer, and I didn't feel like dragging myself back through the Academy halls again, the memories quickly becoming bittersweet, even though I hadn't even left the grounds yet.

I gestured for Gale to lead the way "Would you go first?"

Driscol gave a shy bow as he blushed at the compliment. Compliments were hard to come by as an Ishnu, and they always made him bashful in response. He scuffed the dirt with his hooves. "Immature or not, the top ten percent is no joke." He lifted his head slightly. This was certainly the most he had ever spoken. "It is what you learned in school, isn't it? We Ishnu were told you were taught to make parties, so we had to work together. I guess we make bonds better than you humans."

Aidy rolled her eyes and followed closely after the boy. Her ears flicked as she looked around, the light of the outside was bright compared to the dim lighting inside.

"You don't need to bow, you're a person as long as you're with me, alright, kiddo?", Branwen chuckled. "If anyone gives you any problems, tell me, I'll deal with them." She cracked her knuckles, adding some context.
She nodded to his statement, agreeing, they were no joke, but, the others weren't her kind of people. "I agree, but they might be a little too aggressive for how I work... I don't want to lop the wrong being's head off, do I? But I'll only stick with them for as long as I must. I just don't want anyone getting in the way and getting hurt." Branwen sighed. "Humans can make easy bonds; but the way I was trained when I was younger I was raised to be independent, to be able to kill something bigger than me on my own. My early training kind of stuck with me better. So it's kind of my dad's fault for raising me to be able to kill things without a group."
