he shook his head his innocent doe eyes holding 100 questions. he glanced as the table for a moment, thinking so hard you could swear smoke was coming out of his ears " W-why do you do hugs? what do they mean?" he asked as if he had finnaly chosen his question

I hold back a laugh at how innocent and pure he looked but answer the question patiently "A hug is a way for humans to show affection or offer comfort to one another. We hug if a friend or loved one is going through a rough time, we hug to show others we love or care for them, and some people hug as a form of friendly greeting."

Pearl smiled "Thanks! You need help with anything else?"
She went back to playing with her fire, creating many different things.

I glare in the demon's direction. "How did you get here?" I asked. "Give me my lamp back." I tell him trying to sound tough when I was really scared and confused. I grabbed in the demon's general direction before falling on my face with a thud.

Max ruffled his hair " its my mom and the sharp thing is a rock pick... and the little telescope is not magic its just special" He took your hand that you had poke d looking it over briefly before closing his eyes and rubbing his forehead as if he didnt feel very well " uh, if you need a bandage or something just holler for Thomas" he said sitting back down in the chair his had still on his forehead
