You guys answering most of the questions the same and has me questioning if you planned it >_<

As your group finishes reading the sign there is unrest in the air. What will happen next? Should you try to make it to the end of the valley and home or stay here where you will be safe and comfortable? There is firewood enough that it will last for months and upon exploring there is running water, kitchen, books and other entertainment, along with enough food supplies to last for years stocked in the cupboards and pantry. There are those unopened chests as well in the rooms each member of the party woke up in that might have something useful in them to continue on with or to keep you entertained here. What will you do?

Unexpectedly while you are looking around, four chains appear and bind the group together in pairs by the wrist with little more the three feet before reaching it's max length. It was obvious magic because besides not coming off, nothing else was able too touch it and passed right through. I extra inscription appears on the sign:
By fate you are bound, until freedom you are joined.
It looked like the pairs were stuck together until they either got out of the valley or both met the same fate.

*looks at the person chained to me* "Well at least two heads can be better than one" I say aloud. Looking around I see everything and take in all possible options. "Well, I feel it would be oh so foolish of us to charge into the valley without checking out what is in the unopened chests." I turn to the person next to me. "Hullo, I am Katie, sorry about that, I tend to jump right in an analyze the situation. Now what do you say we find our way out of here after we make a plan?"

Star looked at the girl who was chained to her, and suddenly glee entered her eyes and mind. "INNOOOOOO!" She said, smashing a hug into Innocent forcefully. How lucky! At least she wasn't paired up with any strangers - and a guy would be very problematic, if you knew where Star was going into.

"So it looks like we're chained together, right?!" She said, studying the chains carefully. "Nothing to worry, let's go!" She said excitedly.
