As you listened they became clear, "Sikla kill the bird!" The large male, the Alpha it appeared, snarled at her. A few of the younger wolves snickered. From what you could tell Sikla was an insult of some kind. A female wolf, the other alpha, bore a striking resemblance to Mystic and she seemed embarrassed. She gives a short sigh before snarling, "The daughter of the Alphas should not be the Sikla!" she snaps at Mystic and Mystic darts back, whimpering.

You hear a soft purring and realize Makato has curled up next to you. Her small horns are pressed against your side and are strangely warm.

he ducked to be beside Mystic and whispered softly in her ear, "Why should you believe them for your kind heart? You do not need power to be loved, please, Mystic."

With a large splash Snail jumps in the stream, spraying you with water droplets
