You push it into the wall with a small click. The door that wouldn't open swung open without a sound, revealing a dark hallway beyond it, lit dimly with torches incased in iron bars. It was still pretty dark, so you couldn't see anything else apart from that.

Right, you're missing some secret rules.
Also, be specific with the personality. Not everybody knows who Loki is (me, for example)

I slowly walk out of the room and down the hallway, reaching for a torch. I try to pull one of it's holder and use it to light my path. Wish a soft sigh I ready myself and head too where ever the hallway leads me to, preparing myself for danger.

The torches were encased in iron bars, fixed to the walls, so you could pull one out. The hallway was made of smooth black marble, giving the place a gloomy and ominous feel. At the end of the hallway, there was a door, very similar in colour to the one you'd just opened, but it looked smaller and newer.

I brace myself and knock loudly on the door. I look around nervously and try to figure out balancing the torch against the wall so that I dont walk into the room with an open flame. If no one says anything I keep the torch and head into the room.

(Oops. I misspelled something. It's supposed to be "You couldn't pull one out")
Nobody replied your knock. There was a silver doorknob on the left of the door, and now that you were close enough to the door, you find that it's very smooth, unlike the rough and cracked door you'd left behind you.
You turn around and smack into an animal's face. It was a jaguar. A very big one, and it snarled and then roared, it's hot stinky breath washing over you. It probably wasn't very happy about you smacking your face into its face.
"Oh...sorry about that. And by the way your breath stinks. BRUSH YOUR TEETH" I said, attempting to be calm, "I figured that I probably won't live for that long anyway, so it wouldn't be bad if my death means food for you. Better than getting killed by a tribute." I sighed. I hope Dora will be fine.

I slowly reach forward and try to open the door. I prepare myself for any danger, listening for any noise. I stroke Cheshire with my extra hand and see if shes awake in case there is danger

It snarled, and probably wasn't very happy about being told to brush it's teeth. It backed up some distance then spat on you, before growling, and nearby bushes began to rustle too.
