The guard looks around behind you. "I see nothing." The other guard leans down and glares at you. "You're not a thief, are you?" Behind you, the tiger-stag monsters are getting closer, snapping and growling. They know that normal humans can't see them.

"No. I wouldn't steal anything." she put her hands up, "If I did, how would I escape without being arrested or killed?"

As you run South, exactly the way you came, you run intro the beasts. The leading beast slashes at you, but you duck and manage to only get a shallow cut.
