As the shards came toward her, she hurriedly through up a barrier around her to prevent the shards from hitting her.

"Anything you would like to say before I go? Complaints?" He smirked. "Do realise I haven't killed him yet."

((ffff I was thinking he'd leave him there, not take him with them LOL))

"What are you going to do with him?" she frowned. "He hasn't done anything to you for hundreds of years! You say you're merciful now, but you probably won't be later."

She was desperate to free him or find a way to rescue him. "Let me stay with him. He's my friend, and I want to stay with him to the end. Your people might think he isn't worth anything, but surely your cruel kingdom has humanity."

You feel a soft bunny nose bump your legs.

I try to reach the bunny to pet it with my left hand.
"Well aren't you friendly" as i try to pat its head.

You sit down too and slow your breathing. Instantly, the cave was a hundred times brighter, bright green and purple orbs floating through the air.

Look around in awe

"Well, whatever you want, lady." He nods. "You have enough water, right? Then there is no need to go to the lake."

Your barrier deflected most of the shards, disappearing in a flash of sparks. The atmosphere was growing more tense by the second, the shards spinning around in random directions, a pattern nonexistent.

(Ah, but he is planning to kill him, so why would the prince just leave him there? He wants your friend dead (:<)

"What am I going to do to him?" He laughed maniacally. "Kill him, of course! It seems like he likes you, so to make things more fun, I should imitate you when I kill him!" He clicked his fingers and was engulfed in a column of flame. The fire faded away, and you now faced a copy of yourself, like you did in the mirror.

"So, how do I look? Impressed? I'm exactly the same as you now." Your copy cracked a shark-like smile, speaking in the same voice as you did. "I'm not going to let you stay with him, because you're going to die if you do. Of course, I'm not such a monster that I want to kill you too. You have a life outside of this! Go live it and forget this." Another swirl of flames, and he was the Prince Ogon again. "You'll just either have to forget this, or live with the knowledge that he thinks you killed him. Good?"

It squealed and skidded away back to it's buddy, flinching away from your touch.

Three green orbs float towards you, circling you. They burned with a ferocity and heat you've never felt before, and they closed in on you.

"Well, why don't you try to calm her down?" The griffin suggested, looking at River who had finally gotten the girl off his neck.

"Shes reacting better to River than me"
