your arm hits something but it sounds more like a metallic clang, looks like he's wearing armor. thankfully Castor rushes in and helps you hold him down. between the two of you you manage to keep him down.

I stop and hold out my hand. Though it doesn't hold any flowers, I hope the dragon will take it as a sign of trust that it won't bite my arm off.
