The engine's roar was reduced to a purr, and the propeller slowed to a stop. They landed in front of Tails' place, so Sonic dashed inside to put the keys away.

(Be grateful Sega knows nothing about echidnas. In real life, they are mostly nocturnal)
The Master Emerald behind him illuminated the area with a soft green glow, and seemed to pulse in time with his breathing.
