As you pushed through, the prince grabbed your friend the mage by the scruff and yanked him to his knees, his other hand drawing his sword. As all of this happened, Focus materialized out of thin air above the guards and began divebombing them, causing them to scream like little girls. Uje ran around, throwing them into the air, leaving you, the prince, and your friend the mage alone. "One more move and he dies," The prince snarls, bringing his blade dangerously close to the mage's neck.

Iist thanked the goddesses for Focus and Uje interfering like they did. She stopped in front of the mage and the prince. "Let him go. Leave him alone and take me instead if you want someone to abuse so badly."

Orchenia kept the shadow barrier up, but tried to lessen the light by hitting the light with streaks of darkness.

Platinum nods "south then..." she said with a smile

"Um, nevermind." He leads you to the pool and sits down, his neck arching over the calm water. He closes his eyes, and steadies his breathing.

You head north and enter a lush jungle, leaves and exotic fruits everywhere, bird you've never seen before flutter by over your head, and small critters jump around, chasing each other with high-pitched laughter.

I pay no attention to the laughter and start picking berries and look around at the little critters to see if any are friendly.

The griffin nodded. "We need to hurry to him. If he dies, I die too, and so do all of my other friends. Not to mention, there will be nobody watching over you anymore." He turns to you, looking you in the eye. "Obviously we are not to storm the entrance, and he got hurt because of you, so you have to fix things. What do you suggest?" Behind you two, the girl was slowly quieting in her sobbing, hugging River's neck.

"Aww, trying to save your little boyfriend, are you." The prince sneered. "Unfortunately, I wouldn't dream of abusing you, and I don't dream of abusing anyone! In fact, this boy here," he shook the mage. "is the only reason I'm even out here!"

"Ogon, leave her alone, and take me back to the kingdom, okay?" The mage hissed, struggling to get out of his brother's grasp (but failing, because obviously).

"How touching, you still remember my name after all those centuries," Prince Ogon smirked. "I remember yours too, brother. However, your name is too vile to be spoken." He dragged your friend to his feet and called his guards to him. "We're leaving!" He said, waving his sword at you. "I'm feeling merciful today, so I'll let you live." He roughly pushed his brother in the direction of the guards, who grabbed him and held him firmly, waiting for the prince to be done.
