Valkyrie took a small bow, and nodded, determined not to smile. If she smiled, who knows how the other would react. Still, she felt the corners of her mouth turn up. "Thank you. I try to be." She leans against a tree as Pika meows and jumps into her arms.
"Oh! John, meet Pika; Pika, meet John. And, no, John is not going to attack me. He just did? Oh, we were just practicing." Valkyrie talked to the cat as if she could understand what it was saying with each meow. Valkyrie smiled at John. "Thanks again... For practicing and all that."
